The text is very easy to read and understand

Lex Meyer has accomplished a superb work with "Immortal". He cuts through all the misconceptions and outright misleading's the Church has promulgated throughout the last 1700 years or so, concerning the subject. With Bible verse references on nearly every page he displays the Truth concisely and honestly! The "Church" needs to awaken from it's ignorant slumber, and quickly. This is one of those books that will help to do that. The text is very easy to read and understand. I recommend this book highly! It is a work of pure Christian love, as true Christian love was intended!

A precious Jem: a book that tells the Biblical truth about Heaven and Hell

This book is fantastic. It looks at the foundation of what it means to be a follower of the God of the Bible. Because immortality is the substance of all of God's covenants, it's at the root of everything that is in the Bible. Lex walks back through intervening traditions to what the disciples really believed about life and everlasting life. He address subjects like 'Is the soul immortal?' and 'Is there really a Hell as a place of eternal torment?' I would recommend this book for anyone who wants to take a serious look at what the Bible says about what happens after we die without mysticism or cheap sentiments. My favorite part is the Q&A at the end which answers the exact questions most people (including myself) would ask.

A Great Historical Perception

Many readers may view the English novelists of the turn of last century as sterile and dry. This is a mistake made by the newer generations who have been beguiled by television and modern film making. One gains understanding and perspective of the past through the eyes of various writers and we can begin to see that so many of our problems in this world are of our own making. The social constrictions, the injustices wrought by the well meaning guardians of society, even the arts and sciences can conspire against us. Yet the human condition remains today just as it was well over a hundred years ago.

This novel is the first in a series of writings, three novels and several shorter stories, that make up the Forsyte Saga, a serious reading of the change from Victorian to Edwardian England and beyond. For those who wish to become authors, a serious reading of these works reveals how stories may be told. For the more historical minded, one comes to appreciate the changes in society and how they are wrought. John Galsworthy is a splendid writer and worthy of reading on many different levels.

Not much left to say that hasn't already been said

I read this book twice within the first 36 hours of delivery. During the Introduction, the author clearly says this book is intended as "A thorough introduction to both the production and marketing of cut flowers" and it is absolutely that. I'd give it 6 stars if I could because I will return to this as a reference guide over and over. Even if you never plan on selling cut flowers and are just a home hobbyist, this book can be a great addition to your library. The appendix alone is worth the cost of the book.

This book is a joy to read and full of useful and very practical information. The author's writing style is user friendly and she provides clear explanations, options depending on the reader's gardening plans and expertise, and a wealth of resources. The pictures are lovely and the stories of real flower farmers are a plus. I am considering raising flowers on a small acerage and plan to start experimenting on my existing one acre property. This book is perfect as a starting point and will be a great resource if I move forward with my plans as well. I appreciate the ideas for starting on a very small scale as well as for what it is like to grow flowers by the acre. Glad I bought it!

Arrived promptly and with the access code! Can't really complain too much. The online resources are extremely helpful. Also a little thing to know is that if you buy it new (or used with an online code) you CAN access the ebook version of it ONLINE. So you get both a physical book and an online e-book, which, is VERY convenient to have ESPECIALLY if you're "required" to bring in your text to class every week.

Good first semester book

I can honestly say this is a good book for your first semester of nursing school. I know a lot of my classmates would disagree with me, but I feel that the majority of my questions could be answered from this book. My only complaint is that sometimes this book goes in to so much detail about subjects that you'd think you were going to school to be a physician instead of a nurse. There are also a few things that contradicted what is in the current NCLEX books, but if you are actually reading all of your books, it's easy to point out what's no longer evidence based practice or current.

I like the content of the book though

this book is very thick and heavy!! i use it for my nursing school and it was hard for me to bring the textbook wherever i go. i wish it came in two volume sets. I like the content of the book though. they were very specific and easy to understand. i like how they give examples of scenario and what a nurse should do so. sometimes few chapters can be so dragging because to me it seems like the explanations are redundant. however i still would recommend this.
