About the Author
Debatosh Guha is Professor in Radio Physics and Electronics of the University of Calcutta, India. He has been active in research and teaching at post-graduate level in the areas of microwaves and antennas for last 18 years. He has published more than 100 Journal and Conference articles and has developed CAD for various microstrip antennas, which were reported in IEEE and IEE Journals. He has also developed some high gain microstrip antennas for a North American Wireless Industry, which have been implemented as commercial products.

Yahia M. M. Antar is Professor of ECE Department of the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario.� He has authored or co-authored over 150 journal papers, holds several patents, chaired conferences and sessions in many conferences, and supervised or co-supervised over 60 Ph.D. and M.Sc. theses at the Royal Military College and at Queen's University, of which several have received the Governor General of Canada Gold Medal as well as best paper awards in major symposia.� He served as the Chairman of the Canadian National Commission for Radio Science (CNC, URSI,1999-2008), holds adjunct appointment at the University of Manitoba, and, has a cross appointment at Queen's University in Kingston.

Excelente lectura, facil de entender, y Julian hace del texto algo entretenido al tiempo que nos ense�a formas faciles de aplicar la ley de atraccion y el poder de la gratitud en nuestras vidas. Es un excelente libro para las personas que comienzan en el camino espiritual o esten pasando por un momento dificil. Vivir una vida feliz es facil si seguimos estos pasos y nos comprometemos con nosotros mismos que como bien dice Julian somos los unicos con el poder de cambiar nuestra vida y hacernos felices!!!

I recommend this to clients who are completely new to spreadsheets

Excel can intimidate people who are not familiar with it. All it really is, is a Word Processor for numbers. In my opinion, Microsoft is to blame for the excess complexity of Excel, as they kept adding more power to satisfy the full-time users in places like Investment Banks, causing the program to migrate further and further away from the needs of a new user. Fortunately, some simpler programs that are compatible with Excel have emerged, notably Google Spreadsheets. One thing I particularly liked about "Excel Basics in 30 minutes" is that it covers BOTH the MS Excel basics and the Google version basics. Explaining anything this intricate in 30 minutes is a challenge. (Can it be read in 30 minutes? Yes, I could do it, but I am not a typical user, I did not need to stop and practice the examples.) I was impressed that the book does go into some of the "meat" of Excel while still being a book that someone with NO previous exposure to a spreadsheet can grasp.

Just what I needed!

Exactly what I needed! I have taken Excel classes before, I always struggled with them a little and didn't retain any of the info. So now that I have my own business and have to deal with my taxes, I decided excel was the best way to do it. But I couldn't remember anything about the program. I didn't even remember how to add info, lol. This book gave me a quick and easy refresh and now I have my sheets filled out. Thanks so much!

About the Author

Basant K. Puri, MA, PhD, MB, BChir, BSc (Hons) MathSci, DipStat, PG Dip Maths, MMath, FRCPsych, FSB, is based at Hammersmith Hospital and Imperial College London, UK. He read medicine at St. John’s College, University of Cambridge. He also trained in molecular genetics at the MRC MNU, Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge. He has authored or co-authored over 40 books, including the second edition of Drugs in Psychiatry (Oxford University Press), the third edition of Textbook of Psychiatry with Dr. Ian Treasaden (Churchill Livingstone) and, with the publisher of the present volume, the third edition of Textbook of Clinical Neuropsychiatry and Neuroscience Fundamentals with Professor David Moore.

Annie Hall, BA, MB BCh, MRCPsych is a consultant psychiatrist at South Kensington and Chelsea Mental Health Centre, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London, UK. She read medicine at St Catherine’s College, Oxford, and completed her clinical training at the Welsh National School of Medicine. She works in a busy NHS inner-city psychiatric service as a consultant general adult psychiatrist.

Roger Ho, MBBS, DPM, DCP, Gdip Psychotherapy, MMed (Psych), MRCPsych, FRCPC, is an assistant professor and consultant psychiatrist at the Department of Psychological Medicine, National University of Singapore. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong and received his training in psychiatry from the National University of Singapore. He is a general adult psychiatrist and in charge of the Mood Disorder Clinic, National University Hospital, Singapore. He is a member of the editorial board of Advances of Psychiatric Treatment, an academic journal published by the Royal College of Psychiatrists. His research focuses on mood disorders, psychoneuroimmunology, and liaison psychiatry.
